• Number of frames  
• Number of colours used.

You can reduce GIF size by adjusting the colour settings on export and setting dithering etc., which will reduce the file size.

This can be done in photoshop or other graphic design tools like ezgif.com

Fully loaded email size

It's important to be aware of the size of your email once it has been opened and fully loaded in your recipient's browser.

We recommend a maximum email weight of 100KB - anything larger may lead to deliverability and display issues.

It's also worth remembering that Gmail will clip your HTML at 102KB.
