The Realtime dashboard presents all of your ecommerce data in realtime.
This includes:
- Current active visitors to your site
- Products being browsed, items in checkout
- Orders placed today
- Key traffic sources
Navigation
Select Realtime from the navigation menu:

Begin by selecting your store:

This filters all of your activity and KPIs based on the store you select.
Store activity
The main key performance indicators (KPIs) are in the top three tabs on your dashboard:

Select a time period from the graph to compare those statistics to today:
- vs. Yesterday
- vs. Same day last week
- vs. Same day last 4 weeks - this compares today to the average total on the same weekday for the past four weeks, e.g. the total each Monday, divided by 4.
- vs. Same day last year
Number of active visitors
The number of visitors that have interacted with your website (e.g. page views, reloads, clicks, add to basket, placed an order, etc.) in the last five minutes.
This is the sum total of everyone in your interactions funnel.
The data here comes from the cookies passed to Ometria from your JavaScript tracker.
Total number of orders
The cumulative number of orders today.
The data here comes from the data you send us via our Data API.
Total revenue
The cumulative total revenue for today.
This is your gross revenue including tax and shipping, and excludes discounts.
The data here comes from the data you send us via our Data API.
If you notice a sudden drop in orders or revenue, you should check your eCommerce importer or API - if you've pushed a large number of orders recently then Ometria is most likely still ingesting the data and the graph will update once ingestion is complete.
This doesn't usually mean that there are any problems with your JavaScript tracking, but please raise a support request if you have any concerns.
Interactions funnel
This funnel presents the current visitors interacting with your website, and their activity:

There are two numbers on the right of each stage:
- The top number represents visitors who arrived at your site by clicking on an Ometria campaign email.
- The bottom number represents identified visitors, i.e. visitors who are recognised as contacts in Ometria.

If the coral ‘visitor’ icon flashes, this means a visitor has transitioned from one stage to the next.
The data here comes from your JavaScript interaction API.
Browsing
Anyone currently browsing your website - this includes Ometria contacts and visitors unknown to Ometria.
Shopping
Anyone that currently has products added to their basket.
In checkout
Anyone currently viewing the checkout screen on your website.
Event stream
The Event stream shows arrivals to your site and orders placed in real time:

An Arrival is a new visit, with the source of the visit listed, e.g. Ometria automation campaign, cpc / google, direct, etc.

If the visitor is an identified contact, their email address listed, as well as the source of the visit.
You can hide the contacts’ email addresses from the event stream for security purposes. Contact Support to set this up.
An Order is a newly placed order, with the order ID listed.
Product metrics
The product metrics display the most popular products on your site at the present time:
- Top products being browsed - the top five products visitors are currently browsing, including the visitor count.
- Top products in baskets now - the top five products currently in visitors baskets, including the basket count.
- Products bought today - the top five products ordered today, including the count of purchases.
The data for browsed and basket products comes from your JavaScript tracking.
The data for products bought today comes from your eCommerce data importer.
