Unsubscribe pages are dedicated web pages where contacts can choose to unsubscribe (opt-out) from marketing messages.

Unsubscribe pages must use a dedicated button to unsubscribe contacts, not checkboxes or radio buttons.
The unsubscribe button can only be used to unsubscribe contacts, and not not save other changes or submit additional information beyond the unsubscribe reason.
If you want to include other options, eg. a snooze function, then you'll need to use a separate save changes button.
Success and failure messages
Default success or failure messages depend on the action taken (i.e. unsubscribe or save changes).
Overriding the default message results in the same message being used for both actions, so make sure it is generic enough to apply to both.
Recommendations and best practices
Here are some of the items we recommend including in your unsubscribe page.
If you're interested in implementing any of these options and would like some more guidance, please get in touch with your Customer Success Representative.
Clear unsubscribe option
It's important to prominently display a one-click unsubscribe button for contacts looking to immediately opt-out of specific emails.
Feedback mechanism
You may want to include a feedback form to gather insights from your contacts who choose to unsubscribe.
This can help you understand your audience better and improve your communication strategies.
Snooze function
See: Snooze function
The snooze function is an easy way to set snooze periods for specific contacts, allowing your contacts to take a break from receiving emails without opting out.
Frequency options
Provide a way for your contacts to adjust the frequency of emails they receive from you.
This is a good middle ground for contacts who still want to hear from you, just less often.
Contact information and privacy assurance
We recommend always clearly displaying your customer support contact information in case your contacts have further questions.
It's also important to include a link to your privacy policy, reassuring your contacts that you take data security seriously.
