Once you've created your merchandising blends, you can set up a merchandising strategy.
Merchandising strategies are applied to page elements on your website and comprise any merchandising blends, templates or tests you want to trigger in that element.
Go to: Website personalisation > Merchandising > Merchandising strategies.
The Page elements screen displays.
Page elements are areas in your store website where you can place merchandising features.

- The maximum number of products displayed in the page element
- The merchandising blend applied (if any)
- The merchandising template applied (if any).
- Look and feel.

Complete the fields:
| Field | Description |
| Disabled/Enabled |
We recommend leaving your strategy disabled until you've completed your setup. If you save this merchandising strategy without setting a Schedule, and have set the strategy to Enabled, it runs and executes on your site if the conditions are met. It takes approximately 10 minutes for a new strategy to start working on your site after you've Enabled it and added it to a page element. |
| Name | Enter a memorable name for your new strategy. |
| Description | Enter a clear description. |
| Products per element |
Choose how many products should display in this page element. If you leave this blank, this strategy will inherit the number from your default strategy. |
| Max Size |
If you have lots of products for a page or category, use this field to limit how many of them display. So if you have 200 products on a page, you can limit that to 30. This is useful for landing pages focussed on personalised products. |
