When you're setting up a website personalisation merchandising strategy you can define two behavioural settings:
- Stop once actions have been applied
- Continue and allow other strategies to apply actions
Stop once actions have been applied
Once the strategy is triggered, no further triggers are applied.
Use this option to target only one product category, so it won't apply anywhere else.

Set up two triggers - in this example Belts AND Shoes:
Ometria only uses this strategy and no others, i.e. this strategy only applies to category pages for Belts and Shoes.
Continue and allow other strategies to apply actions
Once the strategy is triggered Ometria will continue to look for other merchandising strategies to apply until:
- Ometria finds a strategy with the behaviour Stop once actions have been applied or;
- There are no more strategies to consider.
