Migrating your self-serve data exports

We've recently released an improved and customisable version of the self-serve data exports allowing you to choose:

• the data fields you want to include in your export, 
• the format your data is exported in, and;
• how often Ometria exports it for you.

This means our legacy self-serve data exports will be retired on Thursday 31st July 2025 and you'll need to migrate your exports before that date.

Step 1: Set up your new data exports

Create a new export to correspond with each of your existing exports.

You can customise the frequency you receive your exports, as well as the time and date, and you have the option to exclude any data fields that aren't relevant to your business.

Step 2: Monitor your new data exports

Let both the old and new data exports run at the same time - this is so you don't lose any data while you're migrating.

When you receive data from the new export, check the following:

• You've received all of the data you expected to receive, at the time you specified, and;
• You're able to process the files you receive. 

Step 3: Disable your old data exports

Once you're happy with the data you're receiving from your new customised exports, you can delete the old ones.
