This feature is currently only available to CDP-only retailers.
You can send Ometria data for different brands and regions via API.
The definitions for 'brands' and 'regions' are flexible and you can customise them based on your business needs.
Generally, region refers to geographic areas like EMEA, NA, APAC, etc., and brand refers to different businesses under the same group.
Once brands and regions are set up for your account, you can use them to filter data in the following areas:
- Overview dashboard
- Customer filter
- Custom events
- Customer cohorts in the segment explorer
- Contacts
- Orders filter
- Products filter
- Products report

When using the customer filter to create segments you can choose to include specific brands and regions using the dropdown fields at the top.
These filters will apply to all other conditions in your blocks.
You also have the following conditions under Customer Attributes:
| Condition | Description |
| Customer brand | The brand this contact belongs to. |
| Customer region | The region this contact belongs to. |
And these conditions have brand and region options:
| Type | Condition | Options |
| Purchase Activity | Has placed an order that matches… |
|
| Web Activity | Has made a visit that matches… |
|
Setting a date range
You'll need to define a date range/timeframe when setting up a filter for any of the following:

Segment explorer
Customer cohorts table
You can group the customer cohorts table in the segment explorer by brand and region:
Brand and region are also available as column headings in the Select metrics menu:
Contacts
The table in the Segment explorer: Contacts tab has Brand and Region metrics:
The list shows one row per customer (based on the filters you apply), regardless of how many brands/regions that contact is assigned to.
If you haven't filtered based on brand and/or region, the record with the most recent acquired date displays.
Select any contact from the list to see their single customer view, which lists all of the brands and regions they are part of (as long as your account view also applies to those brands/regions).
Lifecycle status
Lifecycle status is calculated per brand and region pair (i.e. account view) for each contact.
You can use this data to create filters:
And you can compare lifecycle status for each brand/region in the single customer view:
Exporting from the segment explorer
When you export a segment (with more than one brand and/or region filters set) some contacts might appear across two rows in your Excel or CSV file.
This is because it's possible for a contact to belong to more than one brand or region.
