This article explains how to set up an S3 bucket connection to send a customised data export from Ometria.
Before you begin
Note: If you've already got an AWS S3 bucket connection in Ometria you don't need to create a new one.
Create an AWS S3 bucket and make a note of the following details:
- AWS access key
- AWS secret key
- AWS region
- AWS bucket name
- AWS bucket path
Create your S3 connection
Complete the steps for creating an export and choosing your data fields.
In the second page of the export setup, select S3 as your connection type.
Next, choose a connection:
- If this is the first time you've created a connection to an S3 bucket, select Create a new connection and complete the fields as described below.
- If your Ometria account is already connected to an S3 bucket, select the correct one from the dropdown.
- You can also overwrite this field to export the data to a different path in the same bucket.
