Prevent sold-out online products from appearing in campaigns if stock only exists in physical stores.
By default, Shopify sends inventory data for both online and offline (physical) sources.
This means that if you have sold out of products online, but still have stock in your physical stores, Ometria will include that product in product recommendations and campaigns - which could be disappointing for online customers.
You can request to exclude inventory from your physical stores from Ometria.
Request to exclude offline stock
Reach out to your Customer Success Representative, who can enable this feature for your Ometria account.
In Shopify, you'll need to navigate to the 'Ometria' app and turn on Enable Publication:

Products
Once exclude offline stock is enabled, Ometria evaluates each product it receives and checks if there is online stock.
There are two settings in Shopify that can cause exceptions:
| Field | Description |
| Track quantity | If this is off, Shopify is not tracking stock quantity. This means if your online stock sells out, Ometria will still consider the product in stock. We recommend turning this on. |
| Continue selling when out of stock | If this is on, Shopify considers products available even when they sell out. This means if your online stock sells out, Ometria will still consider the product in stock. We recommend turning this off. |
Fulfillment
If you make any changes to the Fulfillment feature in Shopify after "exclude offline stock" is turned on, please let your Customer Success Representative know, as we'll need to sync our records.
