You can use page curation to create pages specifically for product categories.
Page curation is a more visual and user-friendly method of manual merchandising, because you can easily drag and drop products to pin them in desired positions and preview how the changes will look on the live page.
You can also A/B test from page curation, as well as preview and set merchandising blends and templates.
Go to: Website personalisation > Merchandising > Page curation
Select a category to edit:
Editing a category
You can see if any blends are applied, the template being used, manual merchandising, as well as the placement of any AdSpots you're using on that category page:
These elements are inherited from the merchandising strategy applied to the category page.
From this page you can easily change a blend, AdSpot, template, etc.
Page curation precedence
If a blend or template is set in page curation, it takes precedence over any blend or template set in other strategies on that page.
If you haven't set a blend or template in page curation, and there's one coming from another strategy, that strategy's blend or template still applies.
Custom merchandising
Custom merchandising is more visual and user friendly way to manage your manual merchandising.
Select Manual merchandising from the left-hand panel, then Custom merchandising:
You can drag and drop products from the list on the left of the screen, and re-order pinned products in the same way:
When you drag and drop products, page curation automatically groups them into a set.
To pin a product set, select the pin icon and give it a name.
Select the Products tab to see all products in this set:
To add a new product to a set, just drag it onto an existing set:
Tagging and searching for categories
Sorting the list order or use the search field to find your categories.
You can tag categories as you work on them to find them later.
You can also view the categories you've modified in the Curated by me tab:
On the category page you can see what's currently being applied to the page on your site:
Product card preferences
To see more information for each product, go to Options > Product card and toggle the data you want to see.
This doesn't impact the product display on your website, only in the page curation screen:
Go to the Advanced tab for more options:
A/B testing in page curation
Page curation makes A/B testing manual merchandising much easier.
This feature tests whether your manual merchandising efforts are more effective than not having any manual merchandising.
