This article explains how to set up a Microsoft Azure connection to send a customised data export from Ometria.
Before you begin
During setup, you'll need the following information from your Azure account:
- Account URL
- Container name
- SAS (shared access signature) token with the following permissions enabled:
ReadWriteCreate
Create your Azure connection
Complete the steps for creating an export and choosing your data fields.
In the second page of the export setup, select Azure as your connection type.
Next, choose a connection:
- If this is the first time you've created a connection to Azure, select Create a new connection and complete the fields as described below.
- If your Ometria account is already connected to Azure, select the correct connection from the dropdown.
| Field | Description |
| Connection name | Name the connection whatever you like. |
| Account URL |
You can get this from your Azure account. |
| Container name |
Enter the name of the container from Azure. |
| SAS Token |
Enter your shared access signature (SAS) from Azure. |
| Send error notifications to |
Enter an email address, or several separated by commas. These email addresses will receive an email if there is an export error. |
Click Next.
