Hotspots on interactive images allow recipients to uncover additional information when they hover on an item in your email.
This innovative feature means you can include multiple information points in a single place, resulting in concise and visually appealing emails.

You can include up to four hotspots per image.
We can also personalise the pop-up's colour and styling to align with your brand guidelines.
Getting started with hotspots
First, contact your Customer Success Representative with your brief.
You should include:
- A visual of the final result you have in mind
- Copy
- URLs
- Any other specific details you'd like to see.
The Creative Team will deliver a first draft for you to review.
You'll have two rounds of amendments to make sure the hotspot meets your expectations.
Compatibility
Hotspots are compatible on both desktop and mobile but like many interactive elements, they aren’t supported by all email clients.
Currently, hotspots are supported by:
- iOS Mail
- Apple Mail
- Outlook (MacOS)
Fallbacks
A fallback element will display for contacts who open your campaign in email clients that don't support hotspots.
You can choose from two fallback options:
A large image and line item
This typically includes a static image on the left and a line item layout on the right listing the products included in the hotspot module:
An animated GIF
Alternatively you can use an animated GIF, although you won't be able to link each product to its respective page:
Customisation
You can customise the elements in the hotspot pop-up boxes, e.g., thumbnail images, titles, prices, and call-to-action buttons.
Once we've included the hotspot block in your master template, you'll be able to position and customise them yourself, including choosing to show or hide them.

All the content of the hotspot block, including images, copy and URLs is editable.
