Shopify metafields

Shopify metafields allow you to add custom attributes to your contact records in Ometria.

If you'd like to start sending Shopify metafields to Ometria, reach out to your Customer Success Representative who can help with enablement. 

Be aware: For now, Ometria only supports customer metafields.

Supported metafield types

Ometria support the following metafield types:

Create custom fields for customer metafields

You need to create custom fields in Ometria to correspond with your Shopify metafields.

Set up your custom fields as follows:

Field Description
Field category Contact
Field type

See the list above for field types corresponding with metafield types.

Note: Blob field types are not supported.
Title Give your custom field a name.
ID 

You must include mf_ as a prefix, followed by the namespace as shown in Shopify. 

E.g. mf_custom.washing_instructions
