This feature is currently only available to retailers who:
- onboarded to Ometria after 15th October 2025 or;
- are only using Ometria's CDP features.
You can choose to restrict and hide personally identifiable information (PII), AKA sensitive data from certain user roles in Ometria.
Account admins edit access to PII for custom roles in role management:
If you choose to restrict access to PII, users won't be able to see or filter by any of the following information about a contact:
- Names
- Email addresses
- Dates of birth
- Phone numbers
- Post code of last order (includes zip codes).
Custom fields
You can also choose to define specific custom fields as PII/sensitive data:
If you check the box, this field is automatically hidden from users without PII access.
Custom events
If your custom events have properties that you would like to define as PII, please get in touch with your Customer Success Representative to set this up.
