You can send a preferred language for your contacts to Ometria via:

- Ometria forms - raise a general request with the Support team to discuss your requirements.
Note: Currently this field can only be sent via API or uploaded in a CSV, it's not available directly from ecommerce importers Shopify or Magento.
The preferred_lang
field should be supplied in either ISO 639-1 or RFC-4646 format.
The preferred language field can also come from visit events sent to Ometria via our JavaScript tracker on your website. The event includes the visitor's browser language settings.
You can overwrite the JavaScript data by pushing an API call or uploading a CSV file with the preferred_lang
field.
JavaScript data cannot overwrite data from an API or CSV upload.
You can see the Language field in the single customer view:
