Go to: Campaigns > Campaign performance and select the Transactional emails tab.
You can set your date ranges for reporting at the top of this screen.
Select any of the pre-configured date ranges from the drop-down, or choose Custom Range to bring up the calendar tool and set your own range:
The second date range is for comparison statistics (the grey line in the graph):
You can compare your statistics to:
- The previous 28 days
- The same period of time as last year
- A custom range.
The data in each of the panels on this screen can be exported to a CSV file by selecting Export.
Transactional email overview
Select the Time unit you wish to analyse from the dropdown list.
The horizontal axis on the Transactional email overview graph automatically updates.
The graph can be as granular as you like; its stats can be grouped by:
- Hour
- Day
- Week
- Month
You can also filter by:
- Transactional - If the email was passed to the Transactional email API as
“transactional”: true
- Marketing - If the email was passed through the API as
“transactional”: false
If a stream has been passed for tracking purposes (e.g. for different types of transactional emails) you can also filter on streams (by default all streams will be selected).
Next, choose your performance metrics (KPIs) from the Columns Selected drop-down:
KPI | Description |
Emails sent | The total number of transactional emails sent. |
Emails delivered | The total number of transactional emails delivered. |
Emails bounced | The total number of transactional emails that bounced. |
Emails opened | The total number of transactional emails sent that have been opened at least once. |
Emails clicked | The total number of sent transactional emails that have been clicked at least once. |
Emails complained | The total number of transactional emails flagged as spam by contacts. |
Once you've selected your KPIs, you can click through them to see each graph showing how each metric has changed over your chosen timeframe.
You can quickly compare statistics before and after your selected time by mousing over the figures.
The current value displays in coral on the line graph, and represents the coral coloured date range at the top of the screen.
The previous value is the grey line representing the comparison date, e.g. the same week last month/year.
Transactional sends list
The Transactional sends table in the lower half of the screen lists all of your individual transactional email sends for the time period selected:
If a stream has been passed for tracking purposes (e.g. for different types of transactional emails) you can also filter on streams (by default all streams will be selected).
Column | Description |
To email address | The email address of the contact this email was sent to. |
Stream | The transactional stream. |
Template title | The template used for this email. |
