Ometria's Link click report allows you to monitor the performance of elements of your email templates.
The report indicates which areas of the email your customers are clicking - this is based on the name of each area.

You can find the Link click report in Campaign performance.
Select Automation or Broadcast then scroll down to the Campaigns list and select a campaign.
You can filter your report based on broadcast variants or automation send action nodes:
If you're sending multi-language campaigns from Ometria you can also filter by language:
Campaign links performance
The Campaign links performance panel at the top of the report gives you an overview of your key metrics based on the filters you've set:
Metric | Description |
Click through rate | The percentage of delivered emails in this variant/email node that have been clicked at least once |
Total conversion rate | The percentage of delivered emails in this variant/email node that resulted in a valid order. |
New customer |
The percentage of emails in this variant that were clicked by a new customer who placed their first order.
Note: This metric is not available for automation campaigns, only broadcast.

Returning customer |
The percentage of emails in this variant that were clicked by existing customers whose second order (or more, e,g. Third, fourth, fifth, etc.) is attributed to this campaign. See also: Order attribution in Ometria

First clicks |
The total number of first clicks recorded per email. The first click can only happen once per contact, so if a contact clicks the same area three times, Ometria only counts one click. |
Total clicks |
The total number of clicks recorded. This counts every click made on that block, regardless of who made it. E.g. If a contact clicks the same area three times, Ometria counts three clicks. |
Total revenue |
The total gross revenue from valid orders attributed to this variant. See also: Order attribution in Ometria |
Links
In the lower half of the screen you can review your links row by row.
This table can be sorted to display in order of:
- Highest total clicks
- Highest first clicks
- Lowest total clicks
- Lowest first clicks
And you can choose to look at individual links or Group by content block.
Users with admin permissions can also click the icon to download this report.
This table shows the following information:
Field | Description |
Link name |
The name of the link defined by you in the Link name field in the visual editor, or by using om:linkname= in the editable blocks in your templates. |
Link URL | The URL attached to each template element e.g. image, CTA button, product recommendation block, etc. |
Variant | The variant name added as a tracking label when scheduling a campaign with variants. |
Block type |
The name of the block defined in your master template. If 'No block' displays in this field, then either:
If multiple blocks of the same type are present in the template then the report automatically adds #n to the end, based on the order in the template (e.g. #1, #2 etc.) The numbers are based on that subset of blocks alone. |
First clicks | The number of times this link was a contact's first click. |
Percentage of first clicks | The percentage of first clicks for this specific link compared to the total number of first clicks for the variant/email send node you're looking at. |
Total clicks |
The total number of clicks this link received. E.g. If Terry and Julie both receive this variant and click on this link - Terry three times and Julie twice, then Ometria records five total clicks. |
Percentage of total clicks | The percentage of total clicks for this specific link compared to the total number of total clicks for the variant/email send node you're looking at. |
