Update contact data

The Update contact data action node in automation campaigns allows you to update custom fields on contact records.

Contacts who pass through that node will have the corresponding custom field updated.

Data priority

You can also update custom fields via CSV upload, API, Ometria form and third party integration - the most recent update from any source always takes priority.

Merge tags

You can use merge tags to update contact custom fields with dynamic data, e.g. {{ now }} to update the field with the current timestamp.
