With the subscription sync enabled, Ometria sends any SMS subscription changes (contact opted-in or opted-out) to Attentive.
This is different from the segment sync, which only sends data on which segments your contacts belong to, and only for the segments you've chosen to sync.
You only need to enable the mobile subscription sync if you have subscription sources for Ometria which Attentive doesn't have visibility of, e.g. Ometria forms or the preference centre.
The sync updates all contacts in Attentive the first time it runs, and after that syncs any contacts whose subscription status has changed.
The sync occurs daily.

As soon as the sync is activated for your account, Ometria starts attempting to sync all mobile subscription statuses, resulting in double opt-in messages to any contacts who are 'opted-in' in Ometria but not Attentive.
This means that before we can switch on the sync, it's important that your contact data in Ometria and Attentive is as closely aligned as possible.
We recommend exporting your SMS subscription data from either Attentive or Ometria and importing it into the other.
Your Customer Success Representative will discuss this with you and help you determine which system has the 'best' data set to use.
