Use leads from Attentive in your Ometria automation campaigns by sending them directly to an Ometria segment.
You will need an Attentive account before you can begin, and you should first speak to your Customer Success Representative at Ometria letting them know you plan to integrate even if just for the Attentive trial period.

Data passed to Ometria
Attentive collects the following information about your leads and passes it to Ometria:
Field | Description |
The email address a lead uses to subscribe to email marketing.
Note: You must call ometria.identify() on the email input of your Attentive forms to identify Ometria contacts.

Email timestamp subscribed | The date that the contact subscribed to your marketing emails. |
Email subscription status | Whether or not a contact is opted into receiving email marketing. In most all cases leads from Attentive will be subscribed. |
Phone number | The phone number a contact uses to subscribe to SMS marketing. |
SMS timestamp updated | The last time the contact updated their subscription status for SMS (e.g. to opt in or out). |
SMS subscription status | Whether or not a contact is opted into receiving SMS marketing.In most all cases leads from Attentive will be subscribed. |
Add to an Ometria segment | This integration allows you to add your leads from an Attentive campaign into an Ometria segment, e.g. June sample sale, 2021 pre-black Friday campaign, etc. |
Country | The country the contact signed up from. |
Custom field: sign up source |
A custom field called ‘Sign up source’ that allows you to segment contacts that came from the Attentive source. Use it to personalise your welcome campaigns, reporting, etc. |
Setting up your connection to Attentive
In Ometria, create an API Key.
Next, log into your Attentive account and go to Marketplace.
Find and select the Ometria tile:
In the Connect to Ometria screen, complete the following fields:
Field | Description |
API Key | Enter the API key you generated in Ometria. |
Collection | The source the contact was acquired from - set this to 'Attentive'. |
List IDs | The segment IDs of the Ometria segment you’d like to send leads to. |
Forward Opt-Outs | Turn on to send contact unsubscribes/opt-outs to Ometria. |
Forward phone | Turn on to send phone numbers to Ometria. |
Forward emails | Turn on to send email addresses to Ometria. |
Click Set up integration.

Welcome campaigns
Use your Attentive-connected segments in your automation welcome campaigns.
Personalise your content for leads that come from an Attentive lead acquisition pop-up.
Make sure you align your message with your pop-up, e.g. if you are offering a discount, include a reminder; if people are signing up to a specific event or club, mention the advantages of joining or details on what to expect during the event.
Lead acquisition reporting
Keep track of how many leads you’ve acquired with your Attentive pop-ups and see the breakdown between channels e.g. Email vs. SMS.
In the Segment explorer select Filter customers and segment as follows:
- Sign-up source which is > Attentive
AND
- Accepts SMS marketing which is > opted-in
AND
- Accepts email marketing which is > opted-in
Orders report
In the orders report, filter your contacts by those with Attentive as their sign-up source and then group by month:
You can see the number of orders and the revenue associated with contacts that signed up via Attentive:
