This page is for Magento 1 users who have already set up their integration.
Follow this guide to learn how to configure the Ometria extension, to create a web services user and role for Ometria so that we can access product and transaction data on your ecommerce site.
Before you begin
Install the Magento Extension and click Back To Admin at the top of the Magento Connect Manager to return to your dashboard.
Log out and then log back in again.
Once you’re logged in again, select System > Configuration from the navigation menu bar.
From the left hand menu, select Ometria > Analytics Settings.
Select ‘Yes’ from the Enabled dropdown and paste your Ometria Site ID into the provided field.
Click Save Config.
You will need your API Key, which is provided by Ometria via an email from or via the installation process screen:
Configure role
Log in to your store's administration panel in Magento.
From the navigation menu bar, choose: System > Web Services > SOAP/XML-RPC - Roles
Click Add New Role.
Name the new role 'Ometria' and click Save Role.
From the side menu on the left, select Role Resources.
Set Resource Access to 'All'.
Click Save Role.
Configure user
From the navigation menu bar, choose System > Web Services > SOAP/XML-RPC - Users
Click on Add New User:
Complete the form with the following data:

Click on Save User.
From the side menu on the left, select User role and ensure that the Ometria role is selected.
Click on Save User.
