Ometria stores seven days worth of browsing data for unidentified (AKA anonymous) visitors to your website.
This means that once the visitor is identified you'll already have seven days of browsing data associated with the contact.

How it works
If identification happens inside your account's time window, Ometria can associate these visits to a contact.
- In seven days of the visit (default)
- In 90 days of the visit (if you have enhanced browsing event storage).
If identification happens outside of the window, Ometria still records:
- the source of the first visit, and;
- the number of visits associated with that visitor
via their cookies.
Example:
If a visitor to a store with default event storage comes from google.com, visits five times and then identifies themselves seven days later, Ometria stores the source as google.com, and number of visits as 5, based on cookie data and records the products viewed and events before the user was identified.
