This feature will only work if we import the Shopify based customer id
This article explains how to set up a connection with Shopify to send subscription data (opt in and opt out) from Ometria to Shopify.
The process runs every 30 minutes.

Sending unsubscribes to Shopify
Ometria can send a subscription update to Shopify only if all the following conditions are met:
- The subscription consent timestamp is a future date
- The contact has a customer_id (this must be the contact's Shopify ID).
- The contact already exists in Shopify.
All three of these conditions must be met, or Ometria can't send the correct data to Shopify.
Setting up Shopify subscriptions
First, contact your Customer Success Representative to have this enabled
Once enabled, add the correct scope to the Ometria App by navigating to your Shopify admin account and selecting Apps
Search for Ometria and open
Select Enable Subscription option:
In Ometria, go to Settings and select the Connections tab:
Click Add new connection, then select Shopify email subscription sync.
Toggle on the sync and set the date you want to start sending unsubscribes to Shopify.
This can be earlier than today's date, e.g. the beginning of the current year.
Save your changes.
The sync will start right away, beginning at midnight (00:00) on the date you selected.
