From the Email settings tab, administrators can define some of the account level default settings for email campaigns, including:
- To and from addresses
- Tracking parameters
- Rate limiting/mutual exclusivity
- Soft bounce management
Once you’ve made the required changes on this screen, scroll down and select Save to finalise.
Automation campaigns
The following settings are available for automation campaigns:

Define the maximum number of automation emails a contact can receive per seven days. See Mutual exclusivity for more information. |

Broadcast campaigns
The following settings are available for broadcast campaigns:

Transactional API
Click Add to create default tracking parameters for your transactional emails.
Soft bounce management
Soft bounces are emails that have been temporarily rejected and bounce for various reasons, generally due to an issue on the recipient server side.

By default, Ometria adds contacts to your suppression list after they return three soft bounces within two months (60 days).
You can customise the frequency and time window (e.g. you might want to set it so a contact must return 5 soft bounces in 90 days i.e. 3 months):
