Overlay types

In the Overlay type screen you can define:

• the type of device you want your overlay to display on, and;
• the type of overlay: acquisition or notification.

Choose the devices you want to display your overlay on:

• Desktop and mobile
• Desktop only
• Mobile only

Select overlay type

Define the data you want to capture with your overlay:

Choose between two overlay types:

• Acquisition: displays a sign-up form to capture email addresses and/or phone numbers.
• Notification: displays one or more CTA buttons linking to a destination page; does not capture contact data.

If you select Acquisition, choose what data to capture:

• Email
• Phone number
• Email and phone number

If you choose to collect phone numbers, your overlay has two steps.

Phone number countries

The phone number field displays a flag representing the contact's location, based on their browser timezone.

Site visitors can change this flag to whatever they like.
