Fields
Select the fields to include in this search schema (i.e. which parts of your site to include in the search) and define how those fields are configured for search.
Note: We don't recommend adding too many fields here, as that can skew search results. E.g. Using product descriptions in search results isn't necessarily helpful for searching.
Select one of your fields to edit it, or select + Add Field.
| Field | Description |
| Field | Select a field to add. |
| Spell correction index |
Toggle on to add words from this attribute to the spell correction index. This allows you to spell correct for this category/field and means you can ignore spelling for SKU fields, e.g. |
| Type ahead index | Toggle on to add words from this index to the type ahead index. |
| Default weight (%) | Enter a default weighting for this field. |
| BM25 (b) | Choose 0 for shorter fields 0.75 for longer fields. |
