Categories algorithms

Your Categories schema has three algorithms available:

Algorithm	Description
BM25	Finds previous searches that best match the text the site visitor has entered.
Metric (views)	Finds previous searches that best match the text the site visitor has entered - and provides suggestions in order of most number of views.
Metric (clicks)	Finds previous searches that best match the text the site visitor has entered - and provides suggestions in order of most number of clicks.

These algorithms only affect the suggested search terms on your site, not the products themselves.

Change your search term algorithm

Go to: Search > Search Schemas and select the Categories schema:

Choose your algorithm and Save your changes.
