Ordergroove helps businesses build and manage subscription-based ecommerce experiences.
Ometria’s Ordergroove integration collects customer subscription data from Ordergroove on an hourly basis. Ordergroove sends active and total subscriptions as well as subscription updates to Ometria.
This data populates custom fields in Ometria, which you can use to create segments.
You can also use custom events from Ordergroove to trigger automation campaigns in Ometria.
Before you begin
You'll need to have admin access to both Ordergroove (including API keys settings and webhooks) and Ometria to set up this integration.
Ometria uses the Ordergroove API key to collect historical data for your first sync.
The webhook you set up sends the subscription events Ometria needs to keep your contacts' subscription data up to date.
Custom events
Please raise a request with the Support Team (or your Technical Project Manager if you're onboarding).
Ometria supports the following custom events for Ordergroove:
Ordergroove_subscription_event
This includes both 'subscription created' and 'subscription canceled' events. Ometria also uses this data to update the contact's subscription status where necessary.

API keys
Log into your Ordergroove account and create an API key with the bulk operations permission type.
You'll also need an Ometria API key.
Only users with administrator account permissions can access the API keys tab.
Set up the Ordergroove connection
In Ometria, go to Settings > Connections > Add new connection:
Select the Ordergroove tile:
Authenticate your connection
In the Ometria Authentication screen, select Add a new account from the dropdown.
Give your authentication a name and enter your Ometria API key:
Select Create.
Once the screen has authenticated, click Next to authenticate Ordergroove.
In the Ordergroove Authentication screen, select Add a new account from the dropdown.
Give your authentication a name and enter your Ordergroove API key in the Token field:
Click Create and then Next once the connection is authenticated.
Start Date for Customer Sync
In the Start Date for Customer Sync screen, enter a start date for your customer data.
You can only do this once, for your first sync.
Ometria will retrieve data for all customers in Ordergroove after the date you enter here.
Webhook endpoint
In the final screen of the connection wizard, copy the Ordergroove Webhook Event:
Click Finish once you're ready to complete the connection.
Next, log into your Ordergroove account and create a webhook using the endpoint you copied from Ometria.
