Mention Me event data: Opted in to Marketing Consent – Ometria Help Centre

When a contact gives consent to receive marketing messages from you (i.e. opts-in, subscribes) via Mention Me, Ometria receives an Opted in to Marketing Consent (Mention Me) event (mm:marketing_consent), as well as custom fields associated with that event and contact:

These are the fields associated with the Opted in to Marketing Consent (Mention Me) event:

Campaign ID (Mention Me)	{{ event[ 'mm:campaign_id' ] }}	The unique ID of the Mention Me campaign that generated this opt-in. E.g. 33463
Locale (Mention Me)	{{ event[ 'mm:locale' ] }}	The locale of the website where the contact opted-in. E.g. en_GB
Offer ID (Mention Me)	{{ event[ 'mm:offer_id' ] }}	The unique ID of the Mention Me offer this opt-in was sourced from. E.g. 115912
Consent source (Mention Me)	{{ event[ 'mm:consent_source' ] }}	The source of the oft-in. E.g. newsletter-signup, referee-registration
Campaign short name (Mention Me)	{{ event[ 'mm:campaign_short_name' ] }} Note: We don't recommend using this merge tag in your customer facing emails.	The short name of the campaign that generated this opt-in. E.g. Referral Landing Page
Experiment name (Mention Me)	{{ event[ 'mm:experiment_name' ] }} Note: We don't recommend using this merge tag in your customer facing emails.	The name of the experiment this contact is part of. E.g. New Imagery March 2024 You can use this in the customer filter to target specific contacts from this experiment.
Offer CTA copy (Mention Me)	{{ event[ 'mm:offer_cta_copy' ] }}	A customer friendly offer CTA. E.g. Get £10 off This is the same copy displayed on the referrer offer page.
Offer subject copy (Mention Me)	{{ event[ 'mm:offer_subject_copy' ] }}	The customer friendly offer description. E.g. Treat a friend to 15% off and get £10 to spend on yourself! This is the same copy displayed on the referral registration page.
Offer summary (Mention Me)	{{ event[ 'mm:offer_summary' ] }} Note: We don't recommend using this merge tag in your customer facing emails.	A short description of the offer the referee enrolled in. E.g. Referrer gets £10 off. Referee gets 15% off.
