Merge tags for dates and calculations

Why?

So that you can make the most of your data in Ometria and interact with your customers in new, more personalised ways.

What's new?

We've introduced a set of new merge tags which support dates and complex calculations, allowing you to update templates and fields with dynamic timestamps either based on your contact's timezone or your account timezone.

For example, you can now add "Product prices accurate as of [today's date]" to your templates.

This release also enhances your ability to perform operations on numbers e.g. subtraction, addition or multiplication.

You can combine these calculations with the date tags, e.g. including a date that is two days before today's date.

These tags can also interact with data in your customer's profiles, e.g. if your customer had a field called 'date of last purchase', you could add text to your emails saying "It has been X days since your last purchase".
