Direct mail works as a non native marketing channel in Ometria.
If you're interested in using Direct Mail information within Ometria, please get in touch with your Customer Success Representative to discuss enablement
Once it's on, you can:
- See direct mail opt-in and opt-out events in the consent log
- See a contact's direct mail subscription status in the single customer view
- Filter and segment contacts by direct mail subscription status
- Let contacts manage their direct mail preference in your preference centre
- Include direct mail subscription status and address in your customisable exports
Consent log
Go to: Contact details > Consent
Direct mail opt-in and opt-out events appear in the Consent tab alongside email and SMS, with the same event, source, and date/time detail.

Single customer view
Go to: Contact details > Cross-channel marketability
A contact's direct mail subscription status appears in the Cross-channel marketability panel, alongside email, SMS, and push.

Segmentation
Go to: Customer > Segment explorer > Filter Customers (or any other screen with the customer filter)
Add the Customer is opted in / out to non native channel condition to filter contacts by direct mail subscription status
Use this the same way as Accepts email marketing or Accepts SMS marketing, on its own or combined with other channel conditions. For example, filter for contacts opted in to both email and direct mail to coordinate a cross-channel campaign.

Preference centre
Contacts can manage their direct mail preference from your preference centre, the same way they manage their email and SMS preferences. Ask your Customer Success Manager to add a direct mail toggle to your preference centre.

Exports
Add direct mail subscription status and address as columns in your customisable export. Contacts who've opted out of direct mail are automatically excluded, so you only send eligible contacts to your mail provider.
