When you add the Magento expiry to your coupon pool configuration in Ometria, Ometria won't send any coupons from that pool after the expiry date:
How it works
When you set up a coupon pool with an expiry date in days, e.g. 10 days, Ometria starts generating coupons to meet your specified pool quantity.
Each coupon Ometria creates remembers its own expiry date.
When it's time to send a coupon to a contact, Ometria checks the expiry date - if the coupon has expired, Ometria won't include it in the email.
The coupon pool will continue generating coupons regardless of the expiry time.
Ometria also sends Magento the expiry date for each coupon created, so that Magento knows when the coupons expire.
Hiding expired coupon blocks
Expired coupons aren't used in emails, and we recommend using the hide block feature to exclude blocks containing expired coupons.
This works the same as hiding redeemed coupons, or hiding the coupon block when no coupon is available.
