Barcode generation in Ometria

You can use custom fields and Ometria's coupon pools to generate barcodes to send to your contacts. 

Ometria only uses code 128 barcodes.

There are two options for creating barcodes:

• Coupon pools
• Non-Ometria barcode generator

Using coupon pools

You can use either a CSV pool or a unique auto generated pool to create barcodes. 

Using a non-Ometria barcode generator

If you've created barcodes using a third party tool, you can create a custom field for your contacts and upload a CSV to populate the field with unique values. 

Make sure that the values you're using are connected to your POS system and your ecommerce platform.

Embed this link in an HTML block in your email template to generate a code 128 barcode image.

Replace {{ merge tag }} with either:

• The coupon pool tag: {{ message.coupon.code }}
• The merge tag for your custom field: {{ profile.properties['fieldID'] }}
