✂️ Manage custom fields

We've made some big improvements to the way you create and use custom fields:

We've changed the way our custom field limit works.

Previously the limit was 100 per field type, e.g. 100 string fields, 100 date fields, etc.,

Now you can have 600 total custom fields across all types.

So if you need 300 string fields and only 20 date fields then no problem!

Note: If you'd like to increase the custom field limit please get in touch with your Customer Success Representative.

We've also added two new field types:

Blob (binary large object) - so you can send JSON payloads to Ometria. This can be useful if you need to send large text fields to use in your Ometria email templates.
List of strings - so you can send arrays of strings to Ometria.

Copy merge tags directly from Ometria in the custom fields page.

You can click the ellipsis button and then Copy as a merge tag…:

…or you can select Edit and click the copy icon in the Copy merge tag field:

We've added a new overlay type so you can capture just phone numbers!

When a website visitor signs up using just their phone number, Ometria can identify them and drop a cookie to track their behaviour.

This means you can trigger abandoned baskets, abandoned browse and price drop campaigns to contacts who signed up for just SMS.

Ometria also creates a record for these sign-ups and ingests them in the same way as all other contacts.

WeSupply is a post-purchase experience platform that allows your customers to receive delivery updates, track their orders and manage their returns.

You can set up a webhook to send WeSupply events to Ometria.

Use the WeSupply event as a trigger for automation campaigns.
