You can use an automation campaign to send emails that remind your contacts they have an unredeemed coupon code available.
- If a contact passes through this send node and they have received a coupon code from the same coupon pool before, Ometria will send the same code again (even if they've redeemed it already - use Hide redeemed coupons to prevent this).
- If a contact passes through this send node and they have not received a coupon code from this pool before, they won't get a coupon code in this send - the template block will not display.
This is a good idea for abandoned basket campaigns, e.g. to tempt customers with an unused welcome code to spend it on items they haven't checked out yet.

Template setup
As the reminders will not be relevant to all of the contacts in your campaign (e.g. customers who have already redeemed their coupon and customers who haven't received a coupon from that pool yet), we recommend that you use a hidden block for your coupon.
Check that the block with the coupon code has Hide redeemed coupons switched on:
This is to stop contacts from receiving codes they've already used.
Contacts who have never received codes from this pool won't see the block either.
You should also make sure that the email template makes sense without those blocks, for contacts who won't see them.
Campaign setup
Create your automation campaign as usual and include a send email node.
In the Send Email form, select a coupon code from the dropdown menu and check the Only re-send assigned coupons checkbox:
Select Save.
