Adding physical stores

Updating online stores

Online stores are populated based product and order data Ometria ingests.

You can edit and update their details here by completing the following fields:

Note: All of these fields are mandatory. You won't be able to save your changes if any fields are left empty.

Field

Description

Store ID

The unique identifier for each store - you can't change this.

Store name

The name for each store as it displays in other screens in Ometria.

Type

Mandatory field.

Select 'Online' - this mean's you'll be able to create overlays specific to this store.

Domain

Enter the domain for your online store.

You must include the prefix https://

Show in menu

Enable the store to display in the following areas:

Scroll down and select Save once you’ve made your changes.

Upload or update stores via CSV file

Select Upload stores via CSV file.

💡 If you already have data for physical stores in Ometria and want to bulk update the addresses, make sure the store IDs in your CSV match those already in your account. This will merge the data.

Store CSV uploads have a maximum file size of 1MB.

Your CSV must contain data for the following headers:

id

Mandatory field.

Enter the store ID. 

This ID is used by our API to attribute products and orders to the right store, so it's very important that the field matches the data you send us.

The id field is case sensitive.

This field can't be changed once you've created the store.
name

Mandatory field.

Enter a name for your store - it should be unique and easy to identify, as this is the store name that displays in reports throughout Ometria.
show_in_menu

Mandatory field.

To display this store in the following areas:

This field accepts:

  • For yes, one of: "t", "true", "y", "yes"
  • For no, one of: "f", "false", "n", "no"
type

Mandatory field.

Enter "physical" for physical stores or "online" for online stores.

This field isn't case sensitive.
address

Optional field - mandatory for physical stores.

Enter the address for your physical store.
domain

Optional field - only required for online stores.

Enter the domain for your online store

You must include the prefix https://

Select Process.

You'll get an email once the CSV has completed processing and you can start create a geo-targeted segment.
