📈 Coupon code analytics for automation campaigns
Why?
We want to help you and your team understand the impact coupon codes have in your revenue and conversion rates so that you can adapt your marketing strategy effectively.
What's new?
We've added coupon related metrics to the following automation campaign performance dashboards:
- For all automation campaigns:
- For individual automation campaigns:
- Campaign KPIs dashboard
- Campaign metrics table.
The new metrics are:
- Coupons assigned
- Coupons redeemed
- Redemption rate
- Total coupon revenue
We've also added the following metrics to the Flows tab for each email node:
- Coupons assigned
- Coupons redeemed
- Redemption rate

👀 Email engagement bands updates
The Exclude contacts feature in the broadcast builder now has three available options:

Unengaged |
Exclude contacts based on their opens over the past 180 days. Unengaged contacts who've received fewer than six emails in the past 180 days will still receive emails (until they have received six). Contacts who've been subscribed for less than four weeks are still included. |
Unengaged (human and website interaction) |
Exclude contacts based on their (human) opens, clicks, visits and orders over the past 180 days. Contacts who have not engaged in any of those ways in the past 180 days are excluded. Contacts who've been subscribed for less than four weeks are still included. |
Do not exclude | Include contacts regardless of engagement status. |
We've also revised the logic for our engagement bands and created a new option in the customer filter: Customer email engagement bands (beta)
Using this logic, a contact's engagement score is calculated based on the following interactions over a period of 180 days:
- Human opens
- Clicks
- Website visits
- Orders
Each of these metrics are weighted differently, and the overall score determines which engagement band the contact falls into.
If a contact has not engaged in any way for 180 days, they are considered unengaged and are assigned to the No engagement band.

📅 Date time automation trigger for Push and SMS users
Why?
We're working on improvements to our push and SMS capabilities.
What's new?
If you're currently sending push notifications or SMS via Twilio in Ometria, you can now trigger your cross-channel campaigns to enter contacts at a specific date and time.
When setting up your automation campaign, choose the trigger: Enter contacts at a specific date and time.
Select an Entry date and an Entry time, then choose your segment:
While contacts are entering your automation campaign (at the time and date specified) you won't be able to make any changes to the campaign flow.
If you pause the campaign while it's entering contacts, you will have 24 hours to unpause before any contacts who haven't yet entered won't enter.

🧩 Integrate with HubSpot
Why?
We want to make sure you have all the information you need about your contacts so that you can personalise your campaigns and uncover new insights to inform your marketing strategy.
What's new?
You can integrate HubSpot with Ometria to:
- Update your Ometria contact fields and custom fields with data from HubSpot
- Send HubSpot deals to Ometria as custom events and use them to segment your contacts or trigger automation campaigns.

🧩 Integrate with Recharge
Why?
We want to make sure you have all the information you need about your contacts so that you can personalise your campaigns and uncover new insights to inform your marketing strategy.
What's new?
Recharge is a subscriptions payments platform that allows retailers to set up recurring billing for products and services offered on subscription.
Once set up, contact data from your Recharge account automatically updates contact custom fields in Ometria, which you can use to create segments.
This integration is only available to Shopify users.

⚙️ Improvements
- We've added a validation step to your campaigns using templates with coupon merge tags in them. If you haven't selected a coupon pool for these campaigns then you'll see an error message.
- We've improved our Merge profiles endpoint in our API.
- We've made a number of updates to our Facebook Leads integration set up process.
