đ Coupon code analytics
Why?
We want to help you and your team understand the impact coupon codes have in your revenue and conversion rates so that you can adapt your marketing strategy effectively.
What's new?
Campaign performance: Broadcast
We've added the following metrics to your broadcast campaign performance dashboards:
- In the broadcast campaign performance campaign list
- In the contact analytics and variants tabs for individual broadcast campaign performance
We've backfilled six months' of data for these metrics, so you can go and look at your past campaign performance right away!Â
Metric | Definition |
Coupon pool |
The name of the coupon pool Ometria is using to get these metrics. Also the name of the pool used in your campaign or variant. |
Coupons assigned |
The total number of coupon codes assigned to contacts in this campaign.
Note: This includes coupons that were sent as reminders, i.e. already assigned before the campaign was sent. This is to avoid underrepresenting the coupon redemption rate for each campaign.
|
Coupons redeemed | The total number of coupon codes redeemed by contacts in this campaign. |
Redemption rate |
The percentage of contacts who redeemed a coupon code from this campaign. This is calculated by dividing the number of coupons redeemed by the total number of coupons assigned and multiplying that by 100. |
Total coupon revenue |
The total revenue attributed to coupon codes used in this campaign. This is based on orders attributed to the campaign. See also: Order attribution in Ometria E.g. If you use the WELCOME10 coupon pool as a reminder in your "Easter sale" campaign, you'll see the revenue associated with that pool for the "Easter sale" campaign, not the total revenue for that pool across all campaigns. |
Single customer view
For information on which coupon codes your contacts have been assigned, go to the Contact details screen (AKA the single customer view).
Scroll down the page.Â
You'll see Coupon codes in the left-hand panel under Dynamic and Static segments:
You can see which coupon codes this contact has been assigned, and which they have redeemed.
Click on the name of a coupon pool to open it in a new tab.
Hover over the status to see the date each coupon was assigned, and (if relevant) redeemed:Â
See: Coupon codes in contact details
â© Estimate audiences faster
Why?
The estimate recipients feature in the broadcast builder was very slow to load for retailers with large databases.
What's new?
We've made a number of improvements to the calculation and design of our estimate audience feature to provide a much speedier and more reliable performance:
See: Estimate audience
You can also estimate the audience of your segments directly from the customer filter.
Select Estimate contacts in the customer filter wherever you are in the platform, e.g. building a campaign, the segment explorer, etc.Â
Improvements
Here are some improvements we've made to your experience over the past month:
- Send unsubscribes to Shopify - A new connection that allows Shopify users to send Shopify opt-out data.Â
- Heatmaps: deduplicated clicks - Clicks from the same recipient within the same email are only counted once if they happen within one second of each other - even if the clicks are on different links. This is to decrease any inflation of your clicks which might be due to bots.
- Heatmap hotspots - we've made some tweaks to the way hotspots are displayed in your heatmaps to make sure that colour and size is more reflective of your click numbers.
- Heatmaps for split tests with winners - The winning variant in your broadcast split tests (with winners) now displays in the heatmaps view.
- Facebook sync consent - In line with recent DMA regulations, Ometria's Facebook and Google Ads syncs now only sends contacts to Facebook/Google if they are opted-in to receive marketing.
- Cancelled broadcast campaigns hidden - We've tidied up your broadcast campaigns dashboard by hiding any campaigns that have been cancelled. You can see them again by selecting the Include cancelled campaigns checkbox.
